purpose

'you will abandon it in a few weeks'
response i got when i shared my blog with a friend
he has one himself
he was excited once
but the novelty wore off
he hardly write now

it was not very encourging to hear
it stirred some thoughts
it finally struck me
he has no purpose for it
but i do!
my blog presents my experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas
to people around me
to know me more, to be part of my life
but most importantly
it contains the journal of my walk with the Lord
words i hope will bring encouragement to others
it is not all about me, I and myself
it is about us, me and HIM
