Her past...

She once sailed with grace and pride
was battered by storms and robbed of Her goodness
Her captain tried to steer and guide her
But She didn't know how to let go and let Him guide
Tried as She might to fight the wind and waves
It came thundering over her
Overpowering her efforts to save herself
She shouted and cried for help
He came but She was too blinded to hear nor see

But its true
The Word is true
He never leaves nor forsake her
The captain was never angry
only watched with sadness and grief
as She was not supposed to be in this fallen state
as She allows the environment to devour her

She has lost her spirit, her strength
Once again, Her saviour stood by her
Once again, He reached out to help
refusing to let go
refusing to relent until She listens
refusing to allow His masterpiece go to waste
profusly professing His love for her

Seeing His grace changed everthing
Something She had never fully grasped before was revealed
She can now come boldly to Him
expecting only love and mercy
For She knows the truth, and it set her free

Something changed. Something good happened
But it was unseen. it was supernatural
She was restored to her former glory
No more holes, no more leakages
Lacking nothing
Now sailing once again with grace and beauty
not ashame of the past
for it is an important part of her journey
The past has shaped and mould her to be stronger
stronger in spirit and in truth
no longer afraid of what may come
because perfect love knows no fear!!

Enough to humble me
Enough to put tears in my eyes
